Please read our reasons why you should also consider buying a complete kit: MDG kits are manufactured to the very highest quality. Every piece of fabric is meticulously cut square. We only use DMC or Anchor thread (floss). This is hand-measured and cut, taking extra care that shades do not vary between dye batch numbers. Many hours are spent designing each kit, and to achieve the best result, we recommend using our colour selection. "I've got a similar one" will not give you the best finished picture.
What makes MDG kits worth buying?We believe we produce the best kits on the market! How do we justify this claim? Since we began designing and manufacturing our range in June 1996, we have built a solid reputation for the quality of our products. We have sold several thousand kits through over 100 shops in the U.K. as well as direct to the public through our attendance at public events and via our mail order service. In fact, many people have purchased several of our designs over a period of time. Why? Probably because having seen what value for money and quality they got with the first one, they can buy again and again with complete confidence. Because our kits are designed and manufactured by stitchers for stitchers. As well as the above points we also include in every kit: A chart with nice, big symbols on it. A gap down the middle of the chart, which allows you to fold it in half without breaking up the symbols. A stainless steel needle. Some people prefer gold, but if this is left in your work, it can stain the fabric after a time. Full instructions. Each kit can be completed by a total beginner. A spare piece of fabric for beginners to practice stitching on before they begin to work. Stitching diagrams A backstitch reference picture so you can be sure that the right backstitch is used in the right place!
